Cindy Scott is a passionate vocalist and performer who isn’t afraid to reveal her emotions in song. A native New Orleanian and graduate of the UNO School of Music, her 2010 release, “Let The Devil Take Tomorrow” won her the “New Orleans Best Contemporary Jazz Recording” from OffBeat Magazine. Today, Cindy finds a happy balance performing straight-ahead jazz alongside other musical genres that pervade New Orleans.
Cindy is also a full-time Associate Professor in the Voice Department at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. She teaches all manner of singing-related things and is a Somatic Voicework (TM) specialist.
