Coflo w/ Yukiko & Shane Treez

@ TV Lounge

T V Lounge, Grand River Avenue, Detroit, MI, USA

Friday February 20, 2026

09:00 PM - 2:00 am

When DJ Coflo steps into the booth, it’s never just a DJ set — it’s a full-body conversation between rhythm, movement, and spirit. On Friday, February 20th, that energy lands at Detroit’s iconic TV Lounge, and heads who know already understand: this one is about to feel special.

Born and raised in California’s East Bay, Cody “Coflo” Ferreira is a rare kind of artist — a dancer before he was a DJ, a DJ before he became one of the most respected house music producers of the last decade. Raised in a family of Hawaiian and Portuguese folk musicians, Coflo’s relationship with music runs deep. His foundation in American club dance, house dance, and the Afro-Brazilian art of Capoeira doesn’t just inform his sound — it moves through it. Every record, every mix carries motion, swing, and intention. From winning international house dance competitions to studying music theory and production, Coflo’s path has always been about honoring the culture that raised him.

As the founder of Catch The Ghost Records, a member of the Soulshifters collective, and a former Head of A&R and Label Manager at Ocha Records, Coflo has helped shape the modern soulful and Afro-house landscape. His releases and remixes on Yoruba, King Street, Local Talk, Sacred Medicine, and beyond have earned heavy rotation and deep respect. Tracks like “Stress Relief,” “Soul 2 Souls,” “Peanut Butter Lover,” and his chart-topping 2024 remix of Louie Vega’s “How He Works” have made him a trusted name among dancers, DJs, and collectors alike. This is house music rooted in movement, tradition, and forward vision — played by someone who truly lives it.

We’re also joined in spreading the gospel groove of Coflo in conjunction with Steve Howerton and his Charlotte, North Carolina–based Dance Circle party brand — a like-minded force dedicated to dance-floor communion, deep musical storytelling, and the global house movement.

Rounding out the night in support are Yukiko, an artist and dancer favorite whose selections always speak directly to the floor, and Detroit’s own Shane Trez, bringing the right balance of soul, groove, and hometown heat to set the tone.

Coflo has long been a favorite at the Charivari Detroit afterparties, and with exciting new releases coming alongside the Detroit FAM this Spring, this appearance feels right on time. Get your tickets. This will be a happening on the dance floor.
