Omari Neville & The Fuel bring “another level of Neville” to the stage, with a hard-driving funk-fueled performance that celebrates the next generation of New Orleans’ First Family of Funk. Neville’s updated sound is flavored with reggae, punk, soul, and R & B seasonings. In addition to Omari Neville’s impeccable drumming, the secret ingredients include original Neville’s bassist Darryl Johnson, but the super-secret ingredient is Omari’s father, the vaunted Cyril Neville, who makes appearances with The Fuel on occasion.
