J*DaVeY Announces New Designer Drug Tour in March

On Monday, March 26th J*DaVeY will kick off their New Designer Drug Tour in Philadelphia at World Cafe Live. The national trek includes dates in Washington DC, New York, Pittsburgh, Detroit, St. Louis, Nashville and Chicago, with more shows on the West Coast to be added in April.

Female vocalist Jack Davey and producer Brook D’ Leau are the flamboyant twosome that is J* DaVeY, and the signature sound that they create is an eclectic mix of soul, new wave, funk, and hip-hop that defies the creative constraints of today’ s narrowly defined musical categories. The rhythmically hypnotic electronic mélange that D’ Leau brews is imbued with Jack’ s haunting lyrical intrigue and addictively smooth sonic inventions.

They recently released their long-anticipated album, New Designer Drug, which was met with a glowing reception from fans, despite being oft-delayed due to label issues. “Seeing this project through has been a test of strength, will, and ultimate patience,” says lead vocalist Jack Davey. “I feel the same empowerment I felt the day we started this long awaited album,” says Jack.
