Terrace Martin presents The Pollyseeds, upcoming release Sounds Of Crenshaw Vol 1. The Pollyseeds are an all star cast of producers and players who get together for the sake of the song; Rose Gold, Robert Glasper, Wyann Vaughn, Trevor Lawrence Jr, Brandon Eugene Owens, Taber Gable, Kamasi Washington, Marlon Williams, Jonathan Barber – to name just a few.

Earlier this year, revisiting his South L.A. roots, visionary musician and producer Terrace Martin announces the release of Crenshaw Dreams, an album that pays homage to the dynamic soundscape of neighborhoods in the Crenshaw Corridor and honors Baldwin Hills Crenshaw’s 70 years as a community pillar in South L.A.
Steeped in jazz, funk and West Coast hip-hop influences, Crenshaw Dreams will be available to stream for free on SoundCloud for one month, and then will be available for purchase on Bandcamp on April 14.
Crenshaw Dreams is being released through Martin’s new record label, Sounds of Crenshaw, a collaboration between Martin and Ropeadope, a record label known for its recording across a variety of genres including jazz, hip hop, gospel and electronic music.
