LIBERATE is Hood Rave’s Juneteenth celebration in collaboration with Black Techno Matters. Headlining the night is Waajeed, educator, organizer, and founder of Detroit’s Underground Music Academy, bringing the spirit of Movement Festival straight to LA. Trovarsi and 92Jelani bring their modular synthesis live sets to the floor, each with a practice rooted in the Afrofuturistic and Detroit techno tradition. Rounding out the night is Hood Rave’s newest collaborator E.M. Bae, schooled on Detroit techno and Chicago House, and the multi-genre force Rivussy, one of the artists defining what the Southern California underground sounds like right now.

Ticketholders are also invited to an exclusive afternoon workshop and Q&A with the artists before the show.
