Nayo Jones (pronounced Nīyō) is a Chicago-born jazz vocalist and classically trained flutist who was raised in a musical family and developed her foundation in jazz under the guidance of her father, William “Doc” Jones. Now based in New Orleans, she is known for her dynamic vocal range and signature blend of jazz standards, soul, and contemporary influences. She leads her own group, The Nayo Jones Experience, while also touring as a featured vocalist with Kermit Ruffins and performing with the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra, including on their tribute to Allen Toussaint.

Jones has appeared at major festivals including the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, French Quarter Fest, and Satchmo SummerFest, as well as international stages in Europe and across the United States. She has shared the stage with artists such as George Benson, Chris Botti, Rick Braun, and Richard Elliot, and maintains long-running residencies in New Orleans venues including the Hotel Monteleone and the Jazz Playhouse.
